We spent two days in Athens Ohio.  One at a venue.  Another at a house party.  At the venue, the floor was safe even though we were upstairs.  At the house party the floor was unsafe, everyone almost fell through and when we played we were on a moonwalk because everything was bouncing up and down.  Athens is very close to the Appalachians.  Apparently many people walk around with bowie knives.

Brian: (looking at an album by The Knack) He has eight toms Garrett, why don’t you have eight toms?

Garrett: How many toms ?

Brian: Eight of them.  How many do you have?

Garrett: I don’t want eight toms.  I like to think that what I’m doing is something different, Brian.

Brian: Well.  You are failing.  Miserably.

Garrett:  I think that means that what I’m doing is working then.

Brian: You just have one tom, Garrett.

Garrett: I see the psychology you are using there though.
